He studied at Winchester, Staffordshire and Edinburgh, and has exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally.

Prominent exhibitions featuring Jules' work include the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Discerning Eye, The Morrison Scottish Portrait Awards, and a recent one-man show, 'It's No Palm Beach', at the City Arts Centre in Edinburgh.
