Jules George was born in London in 1969, studied fine art at Winchester School of Art, Staffordshire University and Edinburgh College of Art and now lives and works in Suffolk. He primarily makes paintings and prints although recently he has also been working with fused glass. He has worked on a number of interesting and diverse projects and commissions including a visit to Afghanistan as a war artist in 2010, trips at sea with the Royal Navy and a study of the Scottish - African diaspora.
